Quartix offer a mixture of online and off-line reports. The majority of reports are available online and in most instances can be exported directly from our site into Excel or CSV files. In addition to the online reports we currently have 4 reports that can be set up to e-mail you automatically.
Below is an overview into each of the automated reports available to you and what they will report on.
Daily Vehicle Logs
The daily vehicle log is presented by each of your vehicles, this means you can send different logs to different e-mail addresses. For example each driver could be set up to receive their own vehicles activity. Multiple addresses can also be added if copies are required for additional staff members.
A copy of how the emailed log looks is shown above, a copy of this is also visible online and can be viewed under the 'Daily Vehicle Log' option. Below is a list of the key areas this and all of our e-mailed reports will cover.
- Ignition On and off times and locations
- Travel time
- Idling time
- Distance travelled
- Average speed
- Maximum speed (can be added on request)
- Time on site
- Driver (applicable when using the driver id tagging feature)
Daily Group Report
Our daily group report is an Excel report that contains daily information for a group of vehicles. By having this report set up it can reduce the number of individual daily logs you receive by vehicle.
With this report your vehicles will show on individual tabs along the bottom of the Excel report and will also contain a summary tab of the vehicles group activity for a full overview on areas such as number of trips completed, CO2 emissions, expected fuel consumption and more. Each vehicle tab will contain the same information as that found in your daily vehicle logs.
One of the most beneficial features of this report is that as it is Excel based the data can be reformatted to provide you with additional information. Built into the report is the ability to mark whether a trip was private allowing you to separate business and private mileage by trip. When applying these updates the daily summary also updates in line with the changes you are making.
Weekly Vehicle Log
The weekly vehicle log is a report that gives you both summary (the same as the group report) and detailed trip information for a vehicle over the period of a week. This report can be tailored to send on any day to link in with your working week, by default Quartix will set these to send on a Sunday.
All of the information contained in your daily log will be shown on your weekly one however the weekly log will also have 2 key differences. The first of which is a front page in the body of the email containing your vehicle management data providing you with an overview on your odometer estimate, insurance renewals etc. This data will count down to your preset dates or limits enabling you to keep on top of your vehicle maintenance.
The second difference is that it does not contain locations where the driver has stopped with their ignition on. However, idling time will be reported on so you will be able to see if any of these instances have occurred to then cross reference this online.
Similar to the daily group report, as this is an Excel based document the data can be reformatted to provide you with additional information. Built into the report is the ability to mark whether a trip was private allowing you to separate business and private mileage by trip. When applying these updates the weekly summary will also update in line with the changes you are making.
Weekly Driver Log
Our weekly driver log provides you with both summary and detailed trip information for a driver over the period of a week and can be e-mailed automatically on a day of your choosing to tie in with your working week.
This report will provide you with all the information contained in your daily and weekly logs however this will be based on the drivers tag being used in each vehicle. This will allow you to see your driver activity across all vehicles they may have driven.
Note: All of the emailed logs can be set to send to multiple recipients as a main recipient, a copied recipient (Cc) or a blind copied recipient (Bcc). You can also manage all of these reports online using your administration login access.
