In the unlikely event your tracker develops any issue or stops reporting your vehicles movements you want peace of mind this can be resolved without being hit with replacement unit fees, engineer call out charges or even worse...both.
Standard Quartix warranty
For the first 12 months you will be covered for any replacement units and/or call out fees should your tracking units develop any faults that our Support team are unable to resolve remotely. After your contracted period has ended, so will your standard warranty cover. If you choose to switch to a rolling month contract after such period you can pay an additional fee per month, per unit which is currently chargeable at $3.99.
Quartix Extended warranty
As with any warranty cover it is better to have something in place and never use it than not to have anything in place and incur any unwanted fees in trying to get you back online. This is why Quartix offers an extended warranty option which you can take out from day 1 or at the end of your 12 months. Listed below is some more information on the options available to you and the current costs associated with them.
Saving you money and providing you with peace of mind
Your Quartix extended warranty option is designed to reduce your long term costs and help you plan ahead. Taking our extended cover from the start of your contract will see you pay an additional fee of $1.99 per unit each month from day 1 however will cost you less in the long term than if you decide after your contract period to take this out as the cost per unit each month would rise to $3.99.
Warranty terms & conditions
Quartix warrants to the Customer that the Products purchased will be free from material defects for a period of 12 months from delivery unless otherwise stated on the order confirmation. Should the Products be defective within this period, Quartix will repair or replace them, at Quartix’s discretion, within a reasonable time using components or replacements that are new, or equivalent to new. In the case of Products rented from Quartix this warranty will continue for the duration of the Product rental. QUARTIX DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. QUARTIX FURTHER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE WITHOUT DISRUPTION, NOR THAT ANY REPORTS, DATA OR INFORMATION PROVIDED AS PART OF THE SERVICES WILL BE FREE FROM ERRORS, OMISSIONS, INACCURACIES OR NONCONFORMITIES. QUARTIX SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY OR OBLIGATION TO THE CUSTOMER EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREUNDER. Should the Products be defective within the first thirty (30) days of delivery, the customer may return them and Quartix will refund price of same at Customer election. Quartix makes no warranty for the security or integrity of any connection or transmission used in the provision of the Services, nor any warranty that Products will be compatible with Customer’s own hardware or software.
Quartix shall not be liable for and provides no warranty for any damage caused by the Customer or his representative or any third party through incorrect installation, use, modification or repair of the Products, nor for any accidental or other damage to the Products caused by any party or external force.’
