When your first installs have been completed our Systems team will send your administration login details in the form of a welcome email 24 hours after install (this may be longer if your installations take place on a Friday, over the weekend or over a holiday period).

These will be sent to the main contact taken at the time of your account set up.

Requesting additional login access for your staff

Quartix strongly recommend that where you have multiple staff members that require login access to the tracking system that you create an individual one for each. Quartix offer unlimited login creations for no additional fees so there is no need to worry about hitting a limit.

Creating new login access details online
If you are a system administrator you can manage and configure additional login details online. Simply select Configuration > users.

If you are not an administrator, speak to the person within your company who operates the Quartix system and they will be able to help further and make queries on your behalf.

What is the need for individual access details and recovery emails?

Access issues

Setting up users in this way prevents login passwords being changed which end up impacting multiple users across a company. If staff are all using the login details and one of them forgets the password and resets this will then have a knock on effect to all.


By assigning a recovery email this allows us to also send the access email directly to the individual so they can create a private and secure password that is unique to them

Forgotten password requests

A password reset email can now be requested online via the 'Sign In' section, however this can only be done if a recovery email is added


In the rare occasion an online update needs to be traced, this task is made a lot easier when each user has their own unique login username
